I thought I would do a typical day in the life on a work from home day!
I usually wake up about 4:15am and get a full glass of water. Then I get ready to work out with another 16 ounces of water.
I woke up late today so my workout didn’t get started quite as early as I like. Today I did a leg day workout.
Now it is time to really get the day going. Time to fix my hubby’s breakfast and get his lunch ready. Today he is getting biscuits and gravy (both from a can). This would total out to about 9 Smart Points (3 for the biscuit and 6 for the gravy, which is 3sp for 1/4c…he has between a third and a half).
It’s also time to feed these two.
And time for another glass of water before I get ready for the day.
It is now about 6:30 and time to get ready for my day. Morning chores and shower are up first. Anyone else hate laundry?
Ok. Dressed and ALMOST ready for my day!
And starting the laundry.
And logging on to work.
7:20…Time to enjoy that first cup and organize my week. I keep a physical planner, but also work a daily TO DO list.
By 8am I am hungry so it is time for my breakfast! I have been digging the #feliciacombo and it is quick and easy.
And of course I track it. 100 Days of Honest Tracking!
10:00…time for a step break!
And a quick mid morning snack and 2nd cup of coffee.
12:30 and a break between calls for lunch! Maryland crab soup, pretzel bites, salad and fruit. 8 Smart Points total. Tracked and tracked!
4pm and my workday is done. Time for a quick walk.
And then home to start working on dessert. Apple pie with 2 ingredient dough.
I made the two ingredient dough and divided it into 4 equal portions. I peeled and cut up three apples and mixed them with cinnamon, Lakanto golden monk fruit sweetener, a smidge of flour, a pinch of salt, and a few sprays of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray. Then I rolled out each portion of sight, added 1/4 of the apple mixture on half, and folded the dough over and pinched it closed. I made a few slits to let the steam escape. Then I placed them on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray and baked them at 400° for 15 minutes. These are 3 Smart Points per pie.
Now it’s time to prep dinner. I seasoned my pork chops with Java Momma Spoked Tea Rub and popped them in the oven.
Then I weighed out 6oz of hashbrowns (2sp for 3oz), and sliced an onion to fry wth them.
And of course picked out a veggie.
And then I fed this brat.
Dinner is ready around 5:30. 5 Smart Points total. 3oz pork chop (3sp), 3oz hasbrowns with onion (2sp), and lima beans!
And of course dessert!
Just 3 Smart Points because I used Almond Milk Reddi Whip!
Now it is time to relax for the night with a little Trisha’s Southern Kitchen an then last night’s Walking Dead.
Finally a night time snack of 2 rice cakes (2sp) and ricotta (3sp).
And then it’s time to look back on my day, get my workout clothes ready for the morning, wash my face, brush my teeth, meditate and head to bed by 8pm.
Total points for the day are 28 on my 9th day of 100 days of honest tracking. Blue dot earned.
I have had 72oz of water.
By bed I will have 10,000 steps (9698 now).
