Hi! I am Bea! I have been on a quest to improve my health since 2009. At that time, I weighed in at a hefty 350 pounds. I had multiple comorbidities, and made the very hard decision to have RNY Gastric Bypass. In the almost 10 years that have followed, I have lost 150 pounds, survived Stage 3 Endometrial Cancer, and have learned to live with Graves Disease.
In January of 2019, my husband and I decided it was finally time to get healthy. He was overweight, and I wanted to finally get to my goal weight. I joined WW and found a passion for cooking, meal prep, and exercise.
I am the self-proclaimed Queen of the Turtle Loser Club, but I am feeling fit and healthy and am loving my new healthy lifestyle. I want to use this blog to share my meal prep ideas, recipes, workouts and WW journey.
